An amazing night spent researching for the character Georgia Hendricks I will be playing in my school’s production of “Curtains”
Loving the insight to the late Betty Comden, a musical theatre Lyricist and Performer that the character Georgia was partially based on. An an inspiring woman who was very urbane. Karen Ziemba who was the original Georgia Hendricks on Broadway described her as a diminutive powerhouse who’s feelings were expressed a lot in her face.
Weeee Can’t wait to get Georgia off the page and into the rehearsal room!

Beauty and the Beast is finnished. It was quite stange as I felt no emotion when the show finnished for the last time. It wasn’t until after the presentation when our director made a speech. He is one man that I truely admire for his experience and strength. To see him tear up from this show made me feel so very proud about being apart of his production.
Closing night tomorrow, going to be very sad. I have emensely enjoyed working with these wonderfully talented people! <3
Another humerous show of Beauty and the Beast tonight. Along with this little hicup. I only relised untill I walked on stage for gaston that I have forgotten my panaloons… What’s worse is that one of the beer Tankards got caught on the bottom of my dress and flew up as I was doing my hectic chaines. Let’s just say that I wasn’t wear the best underwear for communal viewing. To add even more to this excitement the photographer was here tonight… Everyone’s hoping for a good shot.
What a show.
